Privacy Policy

What you share, why we need it, and how to manage your data.

Updated 21 September 2026

Web and mobile coverage

This policy covers the current account-based ExamAgent service and the updated mobile app. Platform (web, iOS or Android), app version, first completed question and recent activity dates help us diagnose faults and understand usage. Older clients may not report these fields.

The iOS app uses RevenueCat to connect App Store purchases to your ExamAgent account. RevenueCat processes account identifiers, store transaction/product identifiers, purchase and refund events, and SDK/device diagnostic information. Apple processes App Store billing; Android releases will use Google Play billing when configured. Our backend verifies purchase notifications before changing credits. We do not send question text or photos to RevenueCat. Native purchase availability is shown in the app; approval of a store product does not mean credit checkout has been activated.

Who is responsible

ExamAgent is operated by Chukwuemeka John Okparaeke, an individual operating as Mactrix XR in Nigeria. Contact support@mactrixxr.space with privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, answer questions, maintain your saved materials and balance, fulfil purchases, investigate errors and abuse, respond to support requests, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Depending on applicable law, these activities rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, legal obligations, or consent where required.

AI processing and service providers

Question text and photos are sent from our backend to Google's Gemini API to generate explanations. A photo may include personal information: crop out names, faces, student numbers and other unnecessary details before uploading. Do not submit confidential material or content you lack permission to share.

Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, hosting, database, file storage and server processing. Our current payment integration uses Creem; the provider identified on an actual checkout or receipt processes that transaction under its own privacy notice. Merely applying to another payment provider does not transfer your study content to it. Support email is handled through Namecheap Private Email.

These providers may process data outside your country. Their retention and processing terms also apply. We do not promise that provider systems never retain data. ExamAgent does not sell your personal information or operate an advertising-data marketplace.

Administrative access

The operator has a restricted dashboard for account details, sign-in and recorded app-visit dates, study-request metadata (exam, subject, time and outcome), orders and credit balances. This dashboard does not display question text, uploaded photos or generated explanations. Manual credit corrections are recorded with the operator, reason, date and balance change. Administrative credit-audit records are retained separately from study history for reconciliation and abuse prevention.

Browser storage and traffic measurement

Authentication/session storage keeps you signed in. Local browser storage also holds settings, device-specific study statistics, pending-checkout references and a random visitor identifier. The random identifier lets ExamAgent count landing-page and app visits by hour and day without placing your name, email, IP address or study content in the traffic report. A unique visitor means a distinct browser or device, not necessarily a distinct person. These items are not all synchronised between devices. The public website requests fonts from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when your browser loads them.

The web app uses the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel to measure how ads perform. It records page visits automatically, and for two specific actions, creating an account and completing a purchase, it also receives that this happened and, for a purchase, its dollar amount. It does not receive your name, email, password or study content. Meta processes this under its own privacy policy and may use it for ad delivery and measurement across its own products.

Retention and deletion

Account details, question text and generated explanations are retained to provide your account and answer history. Uploaded question-image data is temporarily stored while a request is processed and removed from the active request record when it completes or fails. Saved PDFs remain in your vault until deleted. Provider logs or backups can have separate retention periods.

You can delete individual vault PDFs. In Settings → Delete Account, you can request removal of your profile, answer history, cloud PDFs and authentication account; a recent sign-in is required. Payment/order records are retained separately for reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention and applicable legal obligations. Deleting your account does not itself request a payment refund. Download materials you want to keep first; copies you already downloaded remain on your devices.

Your choices and rights

Contact support@mactrixxr.space to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of personal data, or to raise an objection or restriction request where applicable. We may need to verify account ownership. Some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes. You may also raise concerns with your applicable data-protection authority.

Younger learners

If you are below the age at which you can independently consent to this service or its data processing in your country, involve your parent or guardian before creating an account or uploading information. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child's information. Do not upload other students' personal information.

Changes and security

We use access controls and encrypted network connections, but no system is completely secure. Material changes to this policy will be identified here and communicated through the service when appropriate. This date describes the current web platform, not the older local-only app.
